"We met Rebecca when our dog, GaudÃ, was being particularly challenging. She took us on without hesitation, and since then has been the best thing that could have happened to us and our dog. She took to our dog right away and knew exactly how to handle him, using positive reinforcement and a lot of love and attention. He's come a long way since we started with her over four years ago, and a lot of that is to her credit.
We tried a number of different walking services before finding Rebecca, but they were either stubborn in their ways of dealing with our dog or made us feel like we were another client on their list covering all corners of Brooklyn. Rebecca is local to our neighborhood and provides a much more personalized relationship than we found anywhere else.
Rebecca not only is flexible with different doggy temperaments, but she also does a lot more than is required from an hour long walk, often taking him out for longer times when she can, helping out whenever he is sick, and leaving us detailed notes about their daily activities. She's also the only person we've trusted boarding him with. Most recently, she took him for two weeks. Although he's normally nervous whenever we leave, he was super happy with her the whole time and was completely calm when we got back. She followed our somewhat neurotic email instructions and sent us regular emails to let us know how he was.
Rebecca knows dogs and truly enjoys their company. She's great at reading doggy language and is an aware and intuitive caretaker. In case you're not getting it yet, we're pretty sure Rebecca's the best dogwalker around. We are grateful to have her in our lives and proud to call her a family friend."
